Our HK Trip: Just Passing By Cebu

Going to Cebu was just a breeze. We boarded Cebu Ferries at the night of March 6 and arrived at Cebu the following morning. Our trip to HK was still at 11PM so we still have the whole day to tour Cebu.

First off, we took our breakfast at Sinangag Station along Lahug. Hubby used to work in Cebu and this was one of his favorite fastfood chain.  They offer all kinds of Sinangag that you could think of and for a very affordable price.

Our next dilemma was how to get to the Sto. Niño church. We were carrying our backpacks the whole time and it was quite difficult to board jeepney's in Cebu because of the tiny space between passengers.
This is where our adventure began. We asked our friend Ian which jeepney to get on but didn't exactly know where to get off.  We were really not familiar with the place and we mistakenly got off at a different place and the church was a kilometer walk away from where we were but then again we did  not hesitate to walk that far. We chose walking rather than getting on another jeepney and get lost again.

We finally arrived at the Sto. Niño church and we were so so glad that we finally made it. It was like an achievement after that long long  and tiring walk. It was really important for hubby and I to get to this place and would not leave Cebu without visiting the church.

But after that long and tiring walk and a quick and solemn prayer at the church, we pampered ourselves and rode a taxi to Ayala Cebu and spent our time at Starbucks and took our lunch at the food court. We don't want to waste any more of our time in getting lost.

Our bags were too heavy to carry around so we decided to go SM and leave our stuff at the Traveller's Lounge then watched THOR in 3D. When it was finally time to go, hubby and I went back to the airport to wait for our flight to HK.

This trip will surely be as exciting as we hope it would be.

UP NEXT: Arrival in HK. We're finally here!
