HK-Macau Travel Diary: Arrival in Macau
We left Cebu, Wednesday at 5:30 am and arrived at the Hongkong International Airport at around 9am.
I've been very excited about this trip although this is not my first time going to Hongkong but because this is my parents first trip abroad and supposedly my sister's too. My sister was not able to come with us because she had some work issues that she needs to attend to.
We got these tickets from the piso fare last February through Cebu Pacific which gave us ample time to plan and save.
Arrival in HKIA:
Waiting Lounge for our Macau Trip
We went to get ferry tickets at the HKIA Skypier located at E2 Level 5 of the airport. The airport had free wifi on both terminals and free water refill (hot or cold) at the waiting section. We did not pass immigrations this time since we'll be travelling to Macau through the Skypier.
Tickets via Cotai Jet was HKD 250 each with free upgrade to First Class. We also had complimentary snacks. Yey!

Upon arriving at the Taipa Ferry Terminal, we passed by immigrations smoothly. Shuttle busses from the different hotels in the country are outside the terminal waiting for guests. All these shuttle rides are for free.
It was very easy to find the shuttle bus from Sheraton Hotel. It was comfy and had free wifi too! How cool is that?!
Here's a welcome groupie:
Sheraton Hotel is located in front of The Venetian Hotel Macau. It is also linked to the Holiday Inn and the Conrad Hotel. On its right side is the Sands Cotai, City of Dreams and Hard Rock Hotel.
We met a lot of Kababayans when we were at Sheraton and they exactly knew that we were pinoys and were very kind to assist us. They also knew how to speak Macau's local language.

Our stay at Sheraton was actually discounted, thanks to a friend who booked our stay. :)
Here's our lunch:
The food court is located at the level 3 of the hotel.
Our food just like the one at Pepper Lunch but they have a different name here. This one costs around HKD70.
