HK-Macau Travel Diary: Macau Tour Day 2

The second day of our Macau Tour was quite an adventure for us. Our agenda for the day will only be the Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul. All I have were guides on how to get there but did not really have the clear instructions where to ride the bus, where to stop and the like.

We checked out early from the hotel and left our bags at the concierge so we would not hurry getting back to the hotel to check out.

To get to Senado Square and Ruins of St. Paul, take the 21A or 26A bus. The bus stop is located across the Sheraton Hotel. Fare costs around MOP7.

Alight at Almeida Rebriero and walk to your right. In front of the Instituto Para Os Assuntos Civicos E Municipais building, you'll find the Senado Square or also known as Largo Senado.

To get to the Ruins of St. Paul, just follow the arrow signs and you'll get there.

Here are our pictures:

We also got to try their Egg Tart and some street food.

Also, free taste were everywhere when you're heading to the Ruins.

Getting back to the hotel was another challenge because we didn't know where the bus stop was located.

We went back to the entrance of Senado Square and instead of crossing the street, we walked to our left, crossed 2 blocks until we reached the bus stop for 21A or 26A. This time we should alight at Sands Cotai.

But we did not take the bus because luckily a kababayan directed us to a free shuttle ride from City of Dreams. We crossed the block where the bus stop was located and from their waited for the shuttle.

We were so relieved to finally get back to the hotel. We had lunch at McDonalds and then went back to the hotel and claimed our luggages.

Outside the hotel lobby was the shuttle that would bring us to Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal.

And so we bid Macau goodbye for now and Thank you for the wonderful experience!
