Lakbay Norte: Arrival in Baguio City, Benguet

We were able to finish our Vigan tour at 4pm as planned. Luckily, a bus to Baguio was available and was ready to depart from Vigan. We boarded the Partas Liner Airconditioned bus from Vigan where the fare costs PHP304 per person.

We arrived in Baguio around 10pm and it was really very cold. We we were all wearing shorts and the coldness of the air was tingling our skin. It was the last day of the Panambengan Festival and actually the last 2 hours of their celebration. We could still hear the band playing and a lot of people are still in the streets along session road. It was hard to look for a taxi that could bring us to our accommodation.

The owner of the transient where we're staying at was very kind to fetch us from Session Road and brought us to the place. The Baguio Transient was like a home away from home. It feels so homey with complete amenities. The room we got was the Apartment 3 where we stayed for 3 nights that costs Php2500 per night. The apartment can accommodate up to 8 persons which is very ideal for people travelling in groups.
