Lakbay Norte: Baguio Tour Day 2

Good morning Baguio! The weather was not freezing cold anymore. The sun was up and it was kinda hot.

The second day of our tour were focused on the places that were far away from Baguio City. Day 2 of our Baguio Trip itinerary are as follows:

Baguio Cathedral
The Baguio Cathedral is also known as the Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral. It is located adjacent to Session Road in Baguio City



Burnham Park and the Swan Lake
The Burnham park was named after Daniel Hudson Burnham who was an architect and urban planner.
The park has a man-made lake where you can rent boats for boating at PHP120 per boat.



The Bell Church
Located at the North of Baguio along the road leading to the town in La Trinidad, Benguet.




Strawberry Farm
Located at La Trinidad Benguet. You can pick up fresh strawberries for PHP300 per kilo or better yet buy pre-pick strawberries from vendors for PHP70 per kilo.



Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes
A 255+ stairway leading to the grotto of our Lady of Lourdes.




Tam-awan Village
This is the place where you can see the history of the natives in Baguio and how their houses were constructed in the past.



Easter Weaving Room
The place where you can get the best quality of woven cloth.



Diplomat Hotel
This hotel was said to be an old church that became a hotel. It was told that this place was haunted and was even featured in ABS-CBN ghost stories.

Ten Commandments
The larget 10 commandment tablet all over the world and was added as part of Guinness Book of World Records.


How time flies and our Baguio tour has ended. It was definitely a memory for keeps. We will definitely come back to Baguio a few years from now.
