HK Tour Day 1: Ngong Ping 360 (NP360)
Good Morning HK!
Hubby and I woke up as early as 6am to make sure that the shared bathrooms are free. I assumed the other guests would be waking up around 8am since business hours in Hongkong starts at 10am. We brought with us noodles and biscuits for our breakfast so that when we get out from the hostel we don't need to eat out at fast food restaurants and immediately head to our tour destination for the day. Saves money and saves time.
Getting around Mongkok was quite easy. Just accross the street from Dragon Hostel is the D1 and D2 Exit of the MTR station. You'll never get lost if you know how to read exit signs and MTR lines.
Our itinerary for the day is at Ngong Ping 360 and Disneyland. Ngong Ping 360 is at the orange line of the MTR - Tung Chung station. The entrance fee costs HKD98. When you drop off from the Tung Chung Station, just follow the exit signs leading to Ngong Ping 360 and you wouldn't get lost.
Once you arrive at the entrance of Ngong Ping 360, you will have to pay for the entrance fee. Also, you have to select which type of cable car you would like to get on. The cable car will bring you to Ngong Ping 360 and the cable car can accommodate up to 20 people. The cable ride takes p to 30 minutes going to the Ngong Ping 360 and another 30 minutes back.
Here are our pictures at Ngong Ping 360.
