Lakbay Norte: Pagudpud-Bangui-Burgos, Ilocos Norte

Naimbag a bigat Laoag!

The phrase means "Good Morning Laoag".

We woke up early because we will be travelling early to Pagudpud, the first stop for our Lakbay Norte trip. Got a quick breakfast at Macy's diner, checked out from the hotel and walk our way to the bus terminal going to Pagudpud.

The bus was like the ones you see in movies when movie stars go to the province. The fare was at PHP70 per person and the trip took longer than expected as the bus was loading and unloading passengers along the way.

We finally arrived at Pagudpud around 10am and our tour guide, Kuya Mar was there to fetch us. Since there are only four of us travelling, we rented 2 tricyles at Php1200 each vehicle.

Kuya Mar brought us to our accommodation at Casa Victoria so we can freshen up and leave our stuff. The room we got was really neat and costs only PHP1400 a night which was good for 4 - 6 persons. Casa Victoria is located at Saud, Pagudpud.

Here's our itinerary for our Pagudpud-Bangui-Burgos Tour:

Saud Beach in the morning. The locals said that it is in Saud where you will find the best white sand beach in the whole Pagudpud area.

If you are planning your Ilocandia tour, Kuya Mar can arrange that for you. You can contact him at 09286618304. PS: His wife cooks the best bagnet in town and can cater to your daily meals.
