HK Tour: Ladies Market
The Ladies Market is located at the heart of Mongkong along Tung Choi Street. It's the same like the night cafe or night market we have here in the Philippines where a lot of vendors setup and sell their goods out on the street. They sell keychain and bracelet souvenirs as well as iPhone and iPod casings.
I even got my pink iPod casing there for 28HKD.
One tip for those who would like to shop for souvenirs, always make sure to haggle 50% of the price because their vendors usually give you a higher price compared to locals. Also, don't ask for the price if you're not sure of buying them because the vendors can really be so persuasive. If you don't understand the vendor because of her accent, she'll show you the price through the calculator. If you want to haggle, type in the haggled price on the calculator.
What's so impressive about Mongkok at night is the people around and the glowing streets and building lights. The good thing in staying at Dragon Hostel is that when you get out of the building, you'll have plenty of choices where to dine and the Ladies Market is just across the street.
