Singapore Trip 2011

Last June of 2011, Boo and I went back to Singapore to attend his barkada's wedding, Aimee and Fred. It was an exciting event for us for this will be the first out-of-the country wedding event that we'll attend to. Not only that, Boo's highschool barkada's are coming too which makes this trip even more exciting.

We thought we would never be able to attend the wedding because it was hard to look for a seat sale in Cebu and we have an HK trip in May. Thankfully, we were able to avail Cebu Pacific's seat sale and was able to push through on this trip.

Our trip to SG was delayed due to a lot of delayed flights because one of their aircrafts had technical problems. We safely arrived at SG at midnight and was surprised that Kid was not there to fetch us. Hmm... that's kinda surprising and weird. There were no hotspots in the area that I could log on to so there were no way for us to contact Kid. Good thing that I have his apartment address. We rode the metered taxi and the driver was able to bring us to the correct address. This is one good thing when you're in SG, all of their taxi's have GPS and they will
drop you off to the specific address that you mentioned including the apartment number. You can also have them deliver your shopping bags to the hotel where you're staying and your shopping bags will arrive safely there.
We arrived at Kid's apartment building and all the lights were off. It was clear that he wasn't expecting us but even so we knocked and knocked until his room mate opened the door for us. Kid was surprised to see us, he wasn't expecting us to come until midnight of that day (which is already the next day). He welcomed us with open arms and we were just so glad that we've finally arrived and was able to rest. Thank you Kid for all your hospitality!

The next day will be a very busy day for us for sure!
Thanks to Kid's wifi we were able to communiate with Boo's friends who came to SG a day early from us.

Up Next: Our Singapore Tour at Vivo City, Universal Studios, Esplanade and Makansutra.

Stay tuned friends!
