SG 2011 Day 1: Universal Studios Singapore

We are finally here! And you bet, we are so EXCITED! We did not have the chance to come to USS when we went to SG 2 years ago because it was still in the making. We were only able to stroll at Sentosa and was able to try their luge and their Sky ride. If you came to USS through the Sentosa train, make sure to stop at the Waterfront station.

We booked our tickets online ahead of time to ensure we won't be having problems with our budget in SG. The tickets costs around SGD74 per head that time which is around PHP2000 plus.

The famous globe of Universal Studios. Got to have a picture with it. The good thing when you're travelling alone with your partner is that you have full control of your time but the bad thing is that you can't have whole body pictures together unless you brought a tripod with you or you ask someone to take your picture. That explains why I'm alone in this picture. Sigh.

This is it! Our entry to Universal Studio Singapore.

And were finally inside!!! Amazing!

Popcorn anyone??? I so lurve their popcorn store and take note it's moving around the streets of USS!

Our first destination was at the Madagascar. It was a long long long line and it was so so hot when we went there to line up. If you want to get rid of falling in line, better avail of their express pass. You'd be amaze with how they were able to put up everything! I was such in awe.

See? Gloria has a snack bar in USS. hahaha!

Our next stop was at Far Far Away Kingdom. It's a 4D screening of Shrek. It was the best! Too bad we haven't tried this when we went to HK.

Next was our favorite part of the day, lunch! We had our lunch at Drive in Diner.

Thankfully after lunch, we saw Fred and Aimee who just got off from the roller coaster ride. We were so happy to finally reunite with them and Boo's barkadas. We didn't get a chance to have a picture with Aimee and Fred because they were in a hurry but they left us with express pass so we can easily get in to the rides.

Our next stop was the at Jurrasic Park where Boo and I got wet! Don't forget to wear your rain coats or you'll get wet! Rain coats are available outside the park.

Next was the The Mummy where we tried the 3D roller coaster ride "Revenge of the Mummy". Now that was pretty scary!!!

Here's a related video I found on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1onxDjDipZs&feature=related This has to be the scarriest ride I've ever experience!

We certainly did not try the super galactica roller coaster. That's way beyond SCARY!

 Stop over at Hershey's :)
