HK-Macau Travel Diary: The Peak

After a tiring walk at NP360, our next stop was at Victoria Peak. It was already 4pm when we arrived at The Peak and was surprised of the very long line to the Peak Tram. We fell in line for almost an hour  before we were able to ride the peak tram.

The peak tram was packed with a lot of people that it was very hard to move around. The ride only took 15 minutes and we were finally at the top.

We got our tickets from Dragon Hostel at a cheaper price. The only downside was that we still have to fall in line even if we already have tickets.

Madame Tussauds is one of the main attractions at Victoria Peak. It showcases a replica of well known artists, celebrities and international government officials made of wax.

Our next stop was the Sky Terrace where you could see the whole city of Hongkong and its colorful lights at night. It was such a scenic view. It was just so cold and windy that we only stayed for 10 min or so.

Going back was again another hour of waiting in line. We had to buy food at burger king and ate it while waiting in line because we were already hungry. The last meal we had was like 2 pm and it was already 8pm when we decided to head back home.

It was already 10pm when we arrived at Mongkok but the area was still packed with people especially the Ladies Market.

We decided not to go to Avenue of the Stars anymore as we had enough walking for the day.

Watch out for our HK Day 3 Tour: Day 3
