HK-Macau Travel Diary: Day 4

Day 4 of our HK Tour was shopping day. We were supposed to visit Avenue of Stars but changed our minds because my parents wanted to go shopping already.

We had our breakfast at our usual favorite chinese food restaurant and headed to Sneakers Street to start shopping.

Mom and dad got Reebok sneakers on a sale price.

Our next stop was at Time Square in Causeway Bay - one of the largest shopping centers in Hong Kong.

We went to buy Clinique Perfumes as planned and got sister MAC lipsticks for my mom, sister and I. Now I'm a happy kid!

We went back to Mong Kok and once again roam around Ladies Market for souveniers. I got a cute iPhone case and 8 32GB USB's.

We also surrendered our Octopus cards as we already made reservations for our airport transfers the next day. The taxi fare via Dragon Hostel is HKD 230. We were supposed to avail of the A21 bus but due to the rally along Nathan Road, the Citybus route around Mong Kok was no longer followed. The bus stop near HSBC at Nathan road was blocked by the rally and so this is why we opted on taking the taxi instead.

Day 5 was our departure from HK. We had a lot of great memories in Macau and Hongkong that we will remember forever. And so for now, we bid Hong Kong goodbye and welcome ourselves back to our beloved Philippines!

xoxo,
