Boracay Trip 2010

After spending our Anniversary in Boracay last August 2009, we planned another Boracay trip for April 2010. This time the trip was via Cebu-Iloilo-Aklan.

We spent a whole day in Aklan to attend Mommy Liza and Mike's wedding. As the song goes, "all our bags are packed, we're ready to go!". We boarded the Cebu Pacific plane first flight to Cebu and arrived at the Mactan International Airport around 8am. Since our flight to Iloilo was still at 12noon, we headed to the IT Park in Cebu and stayed at Starbucks (the favorite tambayan of the group) where Boo bought me a pink tumbler. :) Thanks Boo!

We also went to Ayala to taste the Baby Back Ribs at Casa Verde that Sir Chris was boasting to be really delicious and it was!

It was almost 11 am when we headed back to the airport to check in for our trip to Iloilo. We arrived in Iloilo at around lunch time and headed to rent a van to bring us to Aklan.

It was around 4pm when we arrived at Sampaguita Gardens in Aklan where Mommy Liza and the rest of the gang were waiting. Sampaguita Gardens was known to be the hotel where it's always Christmas. You'll see why by just looking at the pictures alone.

The next day was the most awaited event of Mommy Liza and Mike - their wedding! Here are the wedding pictures:

Right after that sumptuous lunch at the wedding reception, we headed back to the hotel and prepared for our trip to Caticlan via van. The trip to Caticlan took 2 hours max.

We finally arrived in Boracay and it always feel like the first time! You can never get enough of Boracay!

The next day we had island hopping, snorkeling, parasailing and the Flyfish. Here's our pictures:

The next morning, we just took a swim near the Boracay shores of Station 1 and I just can't get enough of it. I wished we could have stayed a few more days but staying for a few more days means shelling out more cash! Oh well.. maybe next time then.

Our trip from Caticlan back to Iloilo was so stressful because the trip took almost 6 hours! We finally arrived in Iloilo around 4pm and stayed at one of Sir Chris relatives house where they graciously accommodated us and for that we would like to say a big THANK YOU!

The following day was our trip back to Cebu and then back to CdeO.
The trip was really exhausting but the experience was definitely a memory for keeps!
