HK-Macau Travel Diary: Day 3
After a tiring day of falling in line at The Peak yesterday night, we woke up late today to get more energy for the day.
We had breakfast at the same chinese restaurant nearby. Today, we ordered 1 wonton rice noodle for HKD17 and then 2 Beef Brisket with rice for HKD30 each. As for the drinks, we ordered soybean and milk tea. It was a sumptuous meal.
Our first stop for the day is at Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple.
Our next stop is at the New Town Plaza (which was quite far) to check out Snoopy's World.
Our next stop is at Jade Street in Yau Ma Tei to purchase Jade jewelry. Jade Street is a 15-20 minute walk from the MTR station. I've read online that they sell jades here at a cheaper price.
So this was what I got aside from the button pendant from NP360.
We got jade bracelets for my sister and I which costs HKD150 each and for my mom with had much bigger stones that costs HKD100.
Mom and hubby also got jade pendants at HKD150 each and as for dad, HKD100.
To get to Jade Street, alight at Yau Ma Tei station and follow the exit signs leading to Jade street.
We all headed back to Mong Kok happily. We had our lunch/afternoon snacks from another chinese restaurant nearby. This time the rice meal costs HKD36 each. It's kinda pricey but the food tastes delicious.
We headed back to the hostel and around 7:30 in the evening, and then went to Ladies Market and bought some souveniers.
So here we are strolling around Ladies Market:
