The Global Village in Dubai

Another must-see tourist destination during the winter months in Dubai is The Global Village which usually opens at the first week of November and closes around April the next year. They have a different theme every year and what's great about visiting this place is that you get to experience different countries all over the world in just one place. You get to taste their food delicacy, buy local products and experience their culture through their performances.

There are a lot of ways on how to get to The Global Village without spending too much on fare. The RTA has ensured that the tourist attraction is easily accessible to everyone living in Dubai. The fare cost 10dhs per way that will be deducted from your Nol card.

  • Bus 102 from Rashidiya Metro station
  • Bus 103 from Ittihad station (outside the Union Metro station)
  • Bus 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro station
  • Bus 104 from Al Ghubaiba Station
The entrance fee costs 15dhs per person. You can find more information here for their park timings, online tickets, and park rules. Here's a list of things you might want to bring before getting there:
  • Nol card (for bus fare)
  • Money (for entrance fee, food and shopping)
  • Sunglasses
  • Umbrella
  • Camera
  • Selfie stick
  • Water
Also, don't forget to apply sunscreen to protect your skin from the heat of the sun and your favorite lipstick so you'll look good on your pictures. 😉

We went there twice. The first time was last March and the second time was a day before my birthday and it took us 4 hours to tour the whole village which already includes picture taking and some light snacks. And oh you don't need to worry about food because the village got you covered. They have a wide variety of food stalls and restaurants for you to dine with your friends.

Here are some of the photos we took during our visit. Definitely everything and every corner of this village is Instagram-worthy, so fellow bloggers get your blogger pose on. 💁🏼

Brilliant post! I am planning to visit Global Village Dubai with my best friend. We recently got our Dubai Visa from UK. Both of us are pretty excited for our wonderful vacation. I hope to grab some memorabilia for my parents as well.

Excellent post! This is the first time I am hearing about the Global Village of Dubai. Your blog has sufficiently explained all the main highlights of this beautiful attraction via beautiful images. I heard that Dubai is easing its travel restrictions and if that is true, I would love to apply for a Visa for Dubai, prepare an extensive itinerary that includes exploring popular attractions of Dubai like the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab & Global village and munch on some delicious Emirati delights in well-known restaurants.
