One Day Boracay Escapade

We woke up late the next day and took our time preparing for our trip back to Caticlan. We are not leaving Aklan without a sidetrip to Boracay.

It took an hour of travel from Kalibo to Caticlan and costs Php100 for the fare. We finally arrived in Caticlan around 10:30am and left our things at the Airport Lodge where we will be staying for the night.

Our first stop in Boracay was at Jonah's Fruitshake. Jona's are known to have the Best Fruitshake in the island and that i have to agree.

Since we did not book any accommodation in Boracay, we went to find somewhere in the shade so we could have our lunchtime picnic. We brought lunch with us so we won't spend that much while in Boracay. If you were not able to bring lunch, you can always go to D'Mall in Station 2 to buy food for dine-in or take out. If you're on a budget, you can go for Andoks or Mang Inasal. 

In case you need to use the restroom, there are restrooms in D'Mall where you only need to pay Php5 per usage.

Also, for other stuffs you need or if you're looking for a mini-grocery, Budgetmart is available at the far end of D'mall.

Later in the afternoon, we soaked ourselves in the cold Boracay waters and just took our time and relaxed.
