Malaysia Trip 2011
June 6, 2011. Our Malaysia trip.
This has to be one of the most unforgettable travel experience that we had.
Woke up late on a rainy Monday morning where we decided to push through our KL trip. With just our iPods as our guide, we alighted at Lavender station and walk our way to Golden Mile Tower. After a half and hour walk, we finally arrived at Golden Mile Tower where we purchased our KL tickets.
The travel took 5 to 6 hours including 4 stops; 2 stops at the immigration and 2 stops for rest room breaks. We arrived at KL TBS terminal at around 5 pm only to find out that there were no money changer on the area and credit cards were not accepted on any stores nor ticketing outlet and the nearest money changer was a 10 minute ride from the terminal.
We were so worried how to push through with the trip and how to get back to SG. Good thing there was one train service that accepted credit cards. God heard our prayers and never left us at these times.
So our KL trip pushed through as we went to KL Center to exchange our money and went to KLCC to get a glimpse of the Petronas tower.
But the adventure did not end there. We had a little dilemma when we went back to the TBS terminal. Ticket fares were much expensive when you travel during the night and none of them accepts credit cards. But God never left our side and provided us with a fare that was within our budget.
We finally got back to SG with great relief and thankfulness!
Whoa! That was one heck of an experience. Thank you Lord for being there! :)
