My First Escapade with Boo

Last 2006, I forgot what the day was but I think it was around the month of September, Boo and I went to Malaybalay to visit his friend and at the same time get the feel of how it is to be on the cold province of Bukidnon. I really loved travelling and so it was not that hard to plan the trip.

Right after our work, we rode a bus from the Agora Bus Terminal that was headed to Malaybalay. The trip took around an hour and a half and the scenery going there was breathtaking-the clouds, the mountains and the pine trees.

We finally arrived at Malaybalay around lunch time so we automatically look for a motorella to bring us to House Malibu. House Malibu is a small hotel in Malaybalay but the accomodations are great. We only payed 1000 pesos for the Standard (Twin Bed) room, air-conditioned, with Ref and TV, and the CR, really nice! I've never seen such kind of CR here in CDO. It's really nice and worth it. So after we put in our luggage, we went to check out Malaybay. From house Malibu, we passed by the Kaamulan Park and the atmosphere was cold and refreshing.

After taking our lunch on one of the "Manokan" where we only ate half of the lechon manok, we headed back to House Malibu to take our rest. Later that night, we took our dinner at House Malibu's restaurant. The food was good and I was full of it.

The next morning, we went to Malaybalay's Cathedral and prayed there and even lit up candles. We also went to meet Jeff's friend and took a walk along Malaybalay's road and eat some yummy barbecues along the way. We even went to NOVO to buy some pouches and some pasalubong that includes our rasta coin purse worth 25 pesos each. We also passed by a craft shop where Boo bought me a piggy bank with a "Happy Monthsary" lettering written on it. By lunch time, we took off and went back home to CDO.

In conclusion, Malaybalay is a small province, a very quiet and cool place to live in. The people are friendly and very helpful. If you're seeking a peaceful place to live or just to relax, Malaybalay is the place for you.
