About Lheyvens
We started traveling when we were just teammates who became best of friends. Our friendship started, May of 2005 while being employed at Link2support (now known as Concentrix). We've shared a lot of happy and sad moments and eventually became the best of friends. We had our fights and we had a lot of good times. Who would have thought that we would end up with each other? He's the Winnie the Pooh and I'm the baby of the team.
As our friendship grows, so as our closeness and relationship with each other. I am writing this now so that in the future I would read this again and have it read by our future kids.
Our relationship started, August 1, 2006. A year after of becoming very close friends. There were a lot of disagreements from friends and roadblocks on our relationship along the way that affected our work and family but still we were able to surpass them all.
Our first travel together was at Malaybalay, Bukidnon (Read here for our first travel). Our next out of town trip was at Dolphin Island, Osamis City in October of 2006 (Read Here). And our first major trip was at Cebu in February of 2007 (Read Here). Ever since then we were traveling together all around Mindanao.
A year after, Boo proposed to me in May of 2007 while we were dining at Yellow Cab and I said "Yes". We bought our couple rings as a sign of our engagement (Read here), It was only in January of 2008 where we discussed the said engagement to our parents in which they have given us their blessing.
We got married 7 months after, August 8, 2008. It was the happiest day of our lives. We said our vows to each other that we will be there for each other through sickness and in health and for richer or for poorer. Our parents, friends and loved ones were there to support us and witness our union as husband and wife.
I believe it was destiny and it was God's gift. He led us to each other and have blessed our union with His Greatness.
So, up next was our honeymoon. Like any honeymooners out there, we set out for a trip in Manila. It was my very first airplane ride and my first time to go to Manila or any places in Luzon area. We went to MOA, Ocean Park, Batangas - Tagaytay and Baguio. Everything was a first for me.
From then on, Boo and I traveled most of the tourist destinations here in the Philippines and even outside the country like Hongkong, Singapore and Malaysia in which you can read about those travels here in my blog.
We intend to make more memories together and travel more destinations until we get old. We always believed in living life to the fullest and with that is making each moment in our lives count.
